Synopsis

A dream-sequence-driven visual narrative built around a single location, using the tabla as a recurring symbolic thread.

Contribution

Designed and executed a stylised, symbolic visual narrative within a single-day shoot and minimal crew conditions.

The Chaos

An indie production with effectively no budget. The film's surrealist visual language was built using saris (traditional Indian fabric) hand-attached to the ceiling by the crew. The colors and patterns of the saris were chosen deliberately to drive the emotional tone of each scene. Chaotic to pull off, but one of the most creatively rewarding shoots.

Recognition

Winner, IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Afsana Festival (Best Film; Best Editing & Post-Production). Official Selection: Middle East Comic Con.
